We would like to invite you to test and use Mediator for Harbour- the first RDD for Harbour which allows an effective data and application migration to the environments of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
In order to test Mediator for Harbour, three elements are necessary:
1. Current Harbour version available from www.harbour-project.org page.
2. Medator client for Harbour available from the file server
Presently, Mediator client supports Microsoft VC++ 6.0 and Borland C++ 5.5. compilers
PLEASE, REMEMBER TO READ HBREADME.TXT FILE AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF MEDIATOR CLIENT FOR HARBOUR!
3. One of Mediator servers (up from version 4.0) available from file server
Mediator Server for Oracle /Windows /SUN SPARC Solaris /Linux
or
Mediator Server for Microsoft SQL Server /Windows
or
Mediator Server for PostgreSQL
or
Mediator Server for MySQL
These are free 3 or 5-user servers with a full license allowing commercial use.
In order to use Mediator you will also need to install a database server of your choice.
