How does Mediator implements locks?
In the tables operated by MEDNTX and MEDCDX drivers, FLOCK, RLOCK and DBRLOCK locks are implemented in Mediator server and with the help of database mechanisms. If the lock has been put up in a transaction, the locked object will not be available for a modification for other (non-Mediator) processes until the transaction termination. If the lock has been put up not in a transaction, then, it will be visible for any xBase/Mediator application. For other applications, the lock WILL NOT be visible.
